The Asset Management Lead is responsible for ensuring all operational assets—including batteries, battery swapping stations (BSS), and spare parts—are available, functional, and in healthy condition at all times. This role owns asset health, lifecycle, and accountability, and acts as the single point of contact for vendors on quality, warranty, and defect resolution. The role also supports insurance claims for missing or damaged assets.

What will you do:
  • Ensure batteries, BSS units, and spare parts are ready to use, safe, and meet operational performance standards
  • Define and monitor asset health indicators (e.g. battery SOH, failure rate, BSS slot status, spare part consumption)
  • Own quarantine, repair, refurbishment, and retirement processes for batteries and BSS components
  • Track battery lifecycle from procurement → deployment → repair → end-of-life
  • Identify unhealthy or abnormal batteries (e.g. repeated failures, low capacity, communication issues)
  • Maintain accurate battery inventory and status (active, quarantine, repair, lost, scrapped)
  • Manage critical spare parts availability to avoid prolonged BSS downtime
  • Act as the primary liaison with battery and BSS vendors
  • Lead warranty claim processes, including: o Defect identification and evidence collection o Root cause discussions with vendors o Tracking claim status and resolution timelines
  • Support insurance claims for missing, stolen, or severely damaged assets
  • Coordinate with internal teams (ops, legal, finance) to prepare required documentation
  • Maintain records of asset loss cases, claim status, and recovery outcomes
What will you need:
  • Min. Bachelor Degree on Engineering/Supply Chain/Ops Management Background
  • 5+ years experiences in Asset management, Operations, or Infrastructure Roles
  • Experience managing hardware assets (EV, energy, telecom, industrial equipment preferred)
  • Strong understanding of warranty processes and vendor management
  • Comfortable working with operational data, dashboards, and inventory systems
  • Experience in EV, battery, or energy infrastructure is a strong advantage
  • Strong ownership and attention to detail
  • Structured problem-solving and root cause analysis
  • Clear and firm communication with vendors
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-moving operational environment
  • Data-driven mindset with practical execution focus
