Warehouse Manager
About the Role
We are looking for a Warehouse Manager to lead and optimize Electrum’s warehouse operations, ensuring efficient material flow, accurate inventory, and smooth coordination between supply chain, assembly, service, and logistics teams. This role is responsible for warehouse planning, storage optimization, inbound/outbound control, inventory management, and team leadership—supporting both daily operations and long-term scalability.
You will work closely with Supply Chain, Procurement, Assembly, Logistics, Service, and Finance teams to maintain high operational standards, control costs, and ensure the availability and accuracy of materials across the Electrum ecosystem.
What You Will Do
Warehouse Operations & Execution
Lead day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inbound, storage, picking, packing, and outbound processes.
Ensure all materials, spare parts, and finished goods are received, stored, and dispatched with proper documentation and handling.
Maintain warehouse layout and space utilization to support operational efficiency and safety.
Implement and enforce SOPs for material handling, storage, inventory movement, and safety protocols.
Oversee cycle counts, stock takes, and reconciliation activities to maintain high inventory accuracy.
Inventory Control & Data Management
Maintain real-time, accurate inventory data in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) or ERP.
Analyze inventory variances and drive root-cause investigations to reduce errors and losses.
Monitor stock levels and provide timely updates to Procurement and Planning on replenishment needs.
Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices are executed across all product categories.
Track and report key metrics such as inventory accuracy, pick accuracy, order fulfillment rate, and stock aging.
Team Leadership & Development
Manage and mentor warehouse supervisors, coordinators, and operators.
Plan staffing requirements and schedule shifts to meet operational demands.
Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide coaching, and manage discipline when required.
Drive training programs to improve warehouse productivity, safety, and accuracy.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Collaborate with Procurement, Planning, Logistics, and Assembly teams to ensure seamless material flow.
Coordinate with Service and CX teams for urgent spare-part requests and issue resolution.
Work with Finance to support audits, stock reconciliations, and cost control initiatives.
Support Product and Engineering teams in managing parts trials, quality issues, and serial-tracking requirements.
Safety, Compliance & Continuous Improvement
Ensure warehouse operations comply with safety regulations, material handling standards, and internal policies.
Conduct routine safety inspections and training sessions to maintain a safe work environment.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce cost, and minimize operational errors.
Introduce improvements in storage systems, workflow automation, and warehouse best practices.
What You Bring
5–8 years of experience in warehouse operations, distribution, or supply chain management.
Strong understanding of warehouse processes, inventory control, and material planning.
Experience using WMS/ERP systems and comfortable working with data and reporting.
Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing warehouse teams.
Strong problem-solving ability with operational discipline and attention to detail.
Good communication and collaboration skills across departments.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume operational environment.
Nice to Have
Experience in automotive, EV, manufacturing, or logistics environments.
Familiarity with Lean, 5S, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement frameworks.
Experience in serial-number management, battery tracking, or component traceability.
Knowledge of safety standards for handling electrical or high-value components.
