Pool Management Manager (2W Automotive)
About the Role
At Electrum, our vehicle pools and service network are critical to ensuring reliable operations for our EV and battery-swapping ecosystem. We are looking for a Pool Management Manager to oversee day-to-day operations across multiple vehicle pool locations and manage performance of third-party workshops supporting maintenance and repairs.
This role is responsible for ensuring fleet readiness, service quality, cost control, and operational consistency across all pool sites and external service partners. You will work closely with Operations, Service, Quality, CX, and external vendors to ensure Electrum’s vehicles are available, reliable, and serviced to standard.
What You Will Do
Pool Operations & Multi-Location Management
Oversee daily operations across multiple vehicle pool locations, ensuring availability, readiness, and compliance with Electrum standards.
Define and implement SOPs for pool operations including vehicle allocation, maintenance scheduling, handover, and documentation.
Monitor pool capacity, utilization rates, and vehicle health across locations.
Ensure consistent operational practices across all pool sites, including safety, cleanliness, and asset control.
Coordinate with internal teams to support demand planning, deployment, and operational needs.
Third-Party Workshop Management
Manage and oversee performance of third-party workshops responsible for vehicle maintenance and repairs.
Define service standards, SLAs, pricing frameworks, and quality expectations with external partners.
Monitor workshop KPIs such as turnaround time, repeat repairs, cost per repair, and SLA compliance.
Conduct regular audits and performance reviews of third-party workshops.
Work closely with Quality Improvement and Service teams to address recurring issues and quality gaps.
Drive continuous improvement with partners through coaching, corrective actions, or partner optimization.
Maintenance, Quality & Cost Control
Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance activities are executed on time and to standard.
Coordinate maintenance planning across pool locations and external workshops.
Monitor maintenance costs, repair trends, and vendor billing accuracy.
Identify opportunities to reduce downtime, repair cost, and repeat issues.
Escalate and resolve operational risks related to vehicle availability or service quality.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Collaborate with Operations, Service Advisors, Quality, CX, and Procurement teams to ensure smooth workflows.
Support CX teams in resolving customer-impacting issues related to vehicle availability or service delays.
Provide operational insights and reporting to leadership on pool performance and risks.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
Track and report key metrics such as vehicle uptime, pool utilization, repair turnaround time, SLA compliance, and cost efficiency.
Lead root cause analysis for recurring operational or quality issues.
Propose and implement improvements to pool layout, workflows, partner management, and operational processes.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Logistics, or a related field.
5–8 years of experience in fleet operations, service operations, workshop management, or multi-site operations.
Strong experience managing third-party workshops or vendors.
Experience overseeing multiple operational locations simultaneously.
Solid understanding of vehicle maintenance, service workflows, and operational KPIs.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work hands-on in the field while managing strategic operational priorities.
Nice to Have
Experience in EV, automotive, fleet, or mobility operations.
Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and service quality frameworks.
Experience working with distributed operations or partner-heavy service models.
Exposure to cost optimization or vendor negotiation.
